Nestled in the heart of northeast Texas, Mount Pleasant is just a short car ride from the DFW Metroplex, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. We are a town of 17,000 people with enough Texas hospitality to make the entire population of some of our smaller surrounding states feel right at home.

Light Up a Life - Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Presented by Cypress Basin Hospice
Friday, December 4, 6 p.m., Caldwell Park

Through this annual Mount Pleasant Christmas tradition, Cypress Basin Hospice offers your family an opportunity to honor those who have passed and provide a continued legacy of care in their honor.

Your donation of $10 or more will symbolically illuminate a light on the Christmas Tree that will be displayed in Caldwell Park. During the Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 4 at 6 p.m., your loved one’s name will be called and a bell will be rung. You can be assured of a moving and inspirational remembrance.

Each donation is used directly towards helping Cypress Basin Hospice continue to deliver quality, end-of-life care to all hospice appropriate patients, regardless of their ability to pay. This support plays a vital role in helping others by providing comfort, care and compassion.

To donate and participate in the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on December 4, call 903-577-1510 or email Niki Huffman, Director of Community Relations and Development at
