Patrons may checkout a total of 10 items at a time, within the following limits, and excluding headphones:

Most items may be renewed twice, providing the item has not been reserved by another patron. Patrons may choose to renew items online by logging in to Atriuum under the "Find Books and More" button on the website, or by calling the library. Login and password are the library card number (5 digits) and patron's last name in all caps. Please note that once books are past due, the "renew" feature is blocked and patrons must call the library.
Headphones are for use inside the library, and may not be taken out of the building or renewed.
Fines for past due items are .25 cents per day, per item, with the exception of headphones.
Headphones not returned by the end of the day are considered lost, and a $10 replacement fee will be added to the patron's account.
Borrowing privileges may be limited or revoked in cases of excessive or repeated fines or damaged items.
Lost or Damaged Items
Patrons are responsible for the care of library materials checked out to them. If items are lost or returned damaged, patrons will be billed for the cost of replacing the item, plus the cost of processing the replacement copy. Overdue fines will not be added to the cost of replacement when a lost or damaged item is paid for.
The library reserves the right to assess and declare the condition of all returned library materials. Library staff will assess damage to materials. Full replacement cost of the item may be assessed, and is based on list price of the item plus a processing fee. Patrons may not provide replacement copies for lost or damaged items. Payment must be cash or check, and is non-refundable. Examples of damages include, but are not limited to pen, crayon, or highlighting marks, food or liquid stains, smoke odor or burns, and bite marks.

Damaged materials will be held for 30 days, when possible, before being discarded. Patrons paying for damaged items during this time period will receive the damaged item.
Any item overdue 180 days or more will be marked lost and the patron will be charged for the item(s). The charge will be the list cost of the item plus a processing fee.
Excessive abuse of library materials or spaces may result in suspension of library privileges.
Lost or Stolen Library Cards
Patrons should notify the library immediately if a library card is lost or stolen in order to block access to their account. Patrons may request look-up of their account in order to checkout, but must have their ID available. Library patrons requesting a new card must clear their old account of fines, overdues, fees, etc. before a new card will be issued.
