Certification Pay:
When officers achieve certain levels of certification, they receive
extra pay as noted:

Uniforms and Equipment:
In addition to the above listed benefits, the City of Mount Pleasant
furnishes each officer with a SIG SAUGER P229 .40 caliber handgun,
a Level III security holster, magazine pouches, ASP baton and holder, flashlight and holster, duty belt, handcuffs with case,
pepper spray with holster, ballistic vest, portable radio, and
the standard uniform allotment. MPPD patrol cars are equipped with
Mobile Vision camera systems, Whelen LED light bars, mobile computers, electronic shotgun mounts and Stalker radars.
