Evidence Manager/TEChnician – POLICE DEPARTMENT – The City of Mount Pleasant is accepting applications for this full time position. Duties will include a variety of tasks associated with the collecting, receiving, tracking, handling, processing, storage, safekeeping and proper disposal of all evidence and property.  Research case dispositions for disposal and release of evidence and property; upon notification of case closure from appropriate authority, destroys or disposes of evidence and property according to law and policy or returns to owner. Must be able to attain approved TLETS/NLETS and NCIC/TCIC operator access; possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record; specific technical training and certifications may be required. Testify in court when required by law. Salary is $35,877.90

TECHNICIAN I - PARKS - The City of Mount Pleasant is accepting applications for this full time position.  Qualifications include High School diploma or GED; experience operating tractors and mowers; landscaping and building maintenance; must be able to obtain CDL within 60 days.  Starting pay is $12.87 an hour.

TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT - PARKS - The City of Mount Pleasant is seeking applicants to work as Temporary Help in the Parks Department for approximately 6 months starting in
May 2015.  Job duties will consist of clean up of all city parks.  Pay is $10 an hour.

LIFEGUARDS - The City of Mount Pleasant is accepting applications for Lifeguards (minimum age 16) for summer only.  Must have/or be able to obtain current Red Cross First Aid, CPR and Lifeguard Certificate with WSI preferred.  If you have any questions, you may contact Jacob Hatfield at 903-575-4000.
