Animal Services
The Mount Pleasant Animal Services Center serves the City of Mount Pleasant, Titus County and the City of Pittsburg. Support our animal adoptions.

Bike Patrol
Our Bicycle Unit is used to interact with the public, working special events and protecting our parks. The Bike Patrol Unit's goal is to provide our residents and visitors to the city with an unsurpassed level of expertise and dedication. They embrace the idea of community policing by making themselves more approachable and accessible to the citizens of our community. The Bike Officer's primary responsibility is to facilitate positive police / civilian relations by interfacing with the general public throughout the city.

The Operations Division includes criminal investigations, professional standards, and special operations.

Honor Guard
Mount Pleasant Police Honor Guard is a ceremonial police unit dedicated to upholding the highest values and traditions of the men and women of law enforcement. Officers of the Honor Guard are committed to representing the City of Mount Pleasant and their law enforcement family. The Honor Guard honors our fallen officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. They remain ready to serve.

K-9
The Mount Pleasant Police canine program was established in 2006 to supplement police operations by locating illegal narcotics. Because of a superior sense of smell and hearing and potential aggressiveness, the trained law enforcement canine is a valuable supplement to law enforcement manpower.

Patrol
The Patrol Division consists of residential / business patrol, traffic enforcement, bicycle patrol, accident investigations (including accident investigation and reconstruction specialists), drug interdiction / K-9 Units, S.W.A.T. Team, and the reserve police officer program.

Records
The records manager is responsible for filing, analyzing and state crime reporting for the department.

Utilized to support special operations and search and rescue.

Victim Services
The Victim Services program provides a police department liaison to assist crime victims in obtaining crisis counseling, crisis intervention, criminal justice support and advocacy, information and referral, notification of rights and assistance with filing Crime Victims Compensation claims, assistance with property return, court accompaniment and shelter to victims of violent crime reported to the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
