Q. Who is responsible for setting up the room and cleaning up after an event at the civic center?
A. Civic center personnel will set up your room as you direct and will clean up after the event. Eating utensils, table coverings, and decorations are not provided.

Q. How do I rent a room at the civic center?
A. Contact the civic center at 903-575-4190 to schedule the event. You will then be asked to sign a contract and pay one-half of the rental prior to confirmation. The balance of the rental payment is due prior to the event.

Q. What equipment is available at the civic center and what are the charges?
A. The civic center has a piano, podiums, risers, coffee makers, projection screens and a TV and VCR available for use at no charge. In addition, the Main Hall can provide accent lighting and a sound system at no charge. For information and fee schedule for the use of a laptop computer, video projector or Internet service, contact civic center at (903) 575-4190.

Q. Can I schedule a time prior to an event at the civic center to decorate or practice?
A. Yes, depending upon availability of the room. Decoration or practice times should be noted on the contract. There may be an additional charge for this time.

Q. Is alcohol permitted at the civic center?
A. Yes, but only under certain guidelines. You must discuss this with the civic center manager.
