citation for an expired driver's license may be dismissed if
you bring proof to the court that you renewed your license within
twenty working days of the offense. You must pay a $20 dismissal fee.
A citation for no driver's license or no proof
of financial responsibility (insurance) may be dismissed if
you bring proof to the court that you had a valid driver's license
or proof of financial responsibility (insurance) on the date and
time of the offense.
A citation for an expired inspection certificate
may be dismissed if you bring proof to the court that you remedied
that defect within twenty working days and the inspection certificate
has not been expired for more that 60 days. You must pay a $20 dismissal
fee.
A citation for expired motor vehicle registration
can be dismissed if you bring proof that you registered the vehicle
within twenty working days and proof that you paid the late fee as
shown on your receipt from the vehicle registration office. You
must pay a $20 dismissal fee.
