Commercial Construction
Two complete sets of plans are required for plan review
and should be stamped by a licensed professional designer, as required
by the State of Texas.
The cover sheet of plans for commercial projects should
contain the following data:
 Building
Code
- Occupancy Classification
- Building Type
- Protected or Unprotected (sprinkler system)
- Area
- Building Height
- Area Modifications
- (Mixed Occupancy) Area of each
- Egress required for occupancy load
- Fire separation rating, if required.
Residential Construction
- Two sets of plans including detailed site plans
are required.
