Where do I report overgrown shrubs and overhanging tree limbs that need to be removed?
The City will cut back low hanging limbs over the street to a height of approximately 15’, and will keep overgrown shrubs or limbs cut back to the curb or to the edge of pavement if no curb exists. City crews do not cut limbs on private property, or any with entangled lines or wires. Call the street department at 903-575-4000 to report streets blocked by downed or overhanging limbs, or overgrown shrubs. Call the appropriate utility company if fallen or overgrown limbs on your property have involved lines or wires.
