Police Records are all official reports compiled by all divisions that comprise the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
The most common type of records complied are motor vehicle crash reports, offense reports (including those reports initiated by the Mount Pleasant Police officers and the public), incident reports, and calls for service initiated by the Mount Pleasant Police officers and the public.
Copies of crash reports are available in person and on-line. Crash (accident) reports are available in person Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding holidays at the police department.
Crash reports picked up at the Police Department are $6.00.
Offense reports, incidents reports and call sheets incur a fee of $0.10 (ten cents) per page up to 50 pages then hourly personnel costs will apply. Reports cannot be faxed. Requests for reports should be directed to:
